Admittedly we haven't been super analytical (which is fine in the beginning - there's an opportunity cost to everything we spend our time in) but are investing more heavily in this area, as of last week. Of course, what people say isn't necessarily what they want and we won't build everything the community asks for. We've shared mockups of new features, soliciting feedback from the community and next week I'm excited to open up a collection of ideas submitted by the community for everyone to upvote and comment on. Being very open and personable with the early users helps build trust and provide feedback for what we should build. Marketing and community-building is even more important. The daily email, day-parting list of products, sliding pane, tagline constraints are all very intentional.īut the product design is just one part of it.
